Dry = Warm

Kombi gloves and mitts are both waterproof and breatheable keeping hands big and small dry. And dry equals warm! Mitts will keep your hands warmer than gloves, so give make these your go-to for Winter sports and cold days. These mitts even come with inside pockets for hand warmers! Great for outdoor field trips and activities! Gloves offer more dexterity but be sure to wear the right size, a pair that is too small will restrict air flow and leave you with cold hands.

    I can’t seem to find anything to keep my thumbs warm LOL…the windchill makes it -44 today and my hand as warm but my thumbs were not

  2. Oh gloves you drive me crazy!!!! We invest in gloves similar to Kombi each year ( I think I actually got a pair of Kombi a few years ago). The kids lose them far too quick. I really need a solution for the lost $30 gloves….even with a name tag they never seem to make it back home?

    Investing in great gloves means more playtime outside in the fresh air! They are a must!

      I hear you Tammy, I really do! I label everything and we lose a couple pair each year. I do save the expensive pairs sometimes for days when we are tobogganing or skating lessons. Recess isn’t a very long period of time outside and with the high potential of items going missing, I’d reather send the less ‘sturdy’ stuff to school

  3. I like how there is a name spot! My son has lost so many mitts at day care, and he only goes one day a week!

    This would help a lot.

  4. I have never heard of Kombi, they sound like great gloves. My daughter is forever playing in the snow (well when it comes again) that her mitts get soaked.

  5. These look great! I’ll admit we are woefully unprepared for winter… living on Vancouver Island, we only need winter gear for a couple days a year. Or the two weeks we go back to Alberta for Christmas. This year, I bought the girls new snow suits on sale but didn’t think of mitts. We ended up in Alberta with little knit mittens, which my niece looked askance at (rightfully so) and declared that they wouldn’t be warm enough. She was right… I should’ve gotten these instead!!! 🙂 Thanks for sharing.

      hard to spend the money when you only need them a few days a year so I get it, but that would have been a cold visit to Alberta without them! P.S. you make me want to move to Vancouver Island! lol

    This would be great now! It is so cold outside right now. I really dislike winter.

    Our issue in our house is that a lot of water proof mitts restrict movement and my oldest refuses to wear them. I love the fact that they are roomy and also are breathable. I have never known that if you buy mitts to small that it wont help keep their hands warm. Thanks for sharing these might be something I need to look into.

  11. These sound great, I have never heard of this brand before..

    Thanks for the review! I’m in need of really good winter gloves.

  13. People! Just put the mitts on a string! I measure a piece of elastic roughly the length from wrist to wrist and tie or sew the ends to each mitt. Then thread them through the sleeves. Ideally, also put the middle of the elastic through the hang loop and thread both mitts through that, effectively tying the elastic to the hanging loop. Then each mitt goes through appropriate sleeve. Voila, mitts stay in place, no matter where your kids drop them. They are now attached to the coat. Elastic is better than a string, because it is softer against the back, the mitts can be pulled out to get them on, and they also stay snug to the cuffs, when hanging.
