With a nephew in his 20’s, I’ve been an Aunt now for quite a few years and like to think I’m pretty good at it. But thanks to this little cutie, who was born just days before Christmas, it’s official. I’m great!

Boys vs. Girls
This little guy brings the male count up to 10 in our small extended family. So that’s 10 vs 2 on the Boys to Girls scale. Yes it takes some pretty strong, tolerant and good hearted women to hold ranks with all these dudes, but Mom and I are well up to the task, we’ve had a lot of practice along the way!
Growing up my Dad would call me “Princess Jennifer”, and while it certainly would be nice to buy some pink dresses for a change, for now, I still hold the crown!

It’s crazy right? no little girls at all in our family! It’s so awesome to see all the boys grow up together though

Awwww, he’s adorable!!! (You look great too!) My hubby and I both came from families with one girl, two boys, so I’m used to being outnumbered too… but now our parents both have only granddaughters!!! Congrats to you and your nephew. 🙂
