I have two little boys who LOVE cereal! It’s the same choice every morning for these too, and the more ‘fun’ the cereal the more excited they get! The problem with cereal is, the more fun it is the less healthy it becomes and that’s not a good way to start the day. We recently discovered Barbara’s Organic Cereal, it’s a company from the USA that has been around since 1971, that makes wholesome cereals with optimal nutrition and taste. The cereals contain no refined sugar or hydrogenated oils!
Snackimals
Okay, aren’t these cute?! The kids were hooked on the packaging alone and loved that the Earth Rangers info was right there on the box! Who said healthy cereal can’t be fun? The boys especially loved the Vanilla Blast flavour and not only ate it for breakfast but took along in their lunchbags for snacks at school as well! The Snackimals are certified organic as well as Non-GMO verified.
Puffins
Puffins are exactly that, little pillow puffs packed full of flavour! We tried the Cinnamon flavour, and while I loved it myself, the boys found it a little too ‘hot’, which meant too much spice for them.
Both cereals were great served topped with cold milk and fresh fruits, giving my boys a great start to the day!

Peanut Butter Puffins are my absolute favorite. If you can find them maybe your boys would like them better.

There are very few cereals that are not high in sugar. It’s nice to see an alternative or two.
