Canadians, what does Summer look like to you?
Whether it’s picnics in park, backyard barbecues with friends, or lazy days at the cottage, one thing we know for sure is – summer is meant for being outdoors! Summer is Canada’s little reward for getting through the long, cold winter months. It’s a warmth that soothes our souls and a crisp lake to refresh our senses! Summer is a time for Canadians to play hard, and rest even harder!
My own summertime romance is my Weber grill, he’s super hot and ladies, he’s one heck of cook! Like most Canadians, I’ll grill just about anything, meat, veggies, fruit (peaches!!!), pizza, the options in our outdoor kitchen are endless and we are only limited by our imaginations! Just watch these cottagers throw themselves an amazing Canada Day party right in the middle of Glamour Lake! There’s nothing like good eats to bring people together!

Such great summer pictures! I love everything on the grill in summer….actually I love enjoying grilled food all year – if hubby does not mind grilling in the winter 😉
Summers are definitely meant to be spent outdoors. We’ve been out swimming most of the time and we’re going on a road trip next week.
Our winters are too harsh to waste all this beautiful weather. Get out. It’s grand out there.
Wow! I would love to have a BBQ on a floating dock like in that video. We have a Weber grill (bought it this spring) and absolutely love it. Everything we cook on the grill is always cooked perfectly. It’s also so easy to clean. I would never buy another BBQ grill again. (In fact, I don’t think I’ll have to, I bet my grill will last over 10 years!)
We’ve had our Weber for years and it’s still going strong!
Oh wow, I totally loved that video! That is the best of what Canada has to offer: great friends, good food and just enjoying what we have. I am a little vaklemp after watching that. I would love to #CelebrateCanada like that.
it hit home for me too, so Canadian!
We spend a ton of time outdoors in the summer from biking to picnics to camping to just hanging out in the backyard!
I love Canadian summers! We go camping and hiking regularly!
