After such a long cold winter, summer is finally here! Well, not everywhere yet, but it can’t hurt to be ready once the sun finally comes out. Soon there will be family barbeques, beach parties and warmer temps, giving you the excuse to pull out your shorts, summer dresses and flip flops. Make sure your skin is beach ready with these tips.
Exfoliate – If this isn’t part of your shower routine, it should be. Exfoliating not only gets rid of dry, flakey skin, it also helps skin to look fresh and prepares it for the next step.
De-fuzz – The trick to getting legs and underarms ready for short hemlines and tank tops? Waxing. Monthly salon appointments can be costly, but that doesn’t mean you have to forego this beauty treatment all together. Today’s home waxing kits are easy to use and mess free. The Nair™ Cire Divine Moroccan Argan Oil Wax is perfect for a beginner or those looking for a quick at home fix. The easy-to-use microwavable resin wax adheres perfectly to the hair, while sticking less to the skin. The result? A reduction in the uncomfortable sensations often associated with waxing, leaving you with smooth, hair-free skin for up to four weeks. This ultra-moisturizing wax is the first of its kind, infused with Moroccan Argan oil to provide the most moisture possible. Bonus, this wax is proven effective on hair as short as 2 MM!
Moisturize – Once your skin is smooth and fuzz free remember to moisturize on a daily basis. Moisturizing will help skin to look and feel younger. It allows skin to feel softer, more elastic, and it helps keep skin hydrated, which is essential during those hot summer months.
Glow – Nothing says summer like glowing skin. Forget sitting out in the sun for hours. Instead use a moisturizer that is tinted to get subtle natural looking glow.
What are your tips and tricks for smooth summer skin?
I moisturize my legs to get them Summer ready. They get so dry in the Winter.
exfoliate!
Exfoliate and moisturize! So important!
hooray for de-fuzzing!
I have to admit – I am a little too nervous to try waxing at home 🙂 I really should look at trying some of these new kits as it would be nice to not have to tote a razor on holidays!
good point! You could leave it at home!
I try to moisturize daily and this helps keep my skin soft.
I have never tried waxing – too chicken! So I stick to a razor/shaving cream and moisturizing cream to get my skin summer ready.
I’m going to have to check this product out! I usually follow the same routine that Judy does. Shaving and moisturizing.
I love this product! It’s so easy to use!
I’ve never been brave enough to try waxing, I did try an epilator but found that developed so many grown in hairs that my legs were a mess. Now I just shave them but do wish there was an easier longer lasting way to do it. 🙂
I’ve never been brave enough to try an epilator! lol
