Here’s a little trick I have for filling stockings, instead of buying a ton of small items that can really add up cost wise, choose a bigger item that’s going to fill a good portion of the stocking and then work around it. My suggestion? A Thermos beverage container.
My boys each keep one of the Thermos FUNtainers at their desk at school. The teachers encourage this to avoid kids asking for drinks at the water fountain, the kids love it and as a parent I love it too because it’s super important to stay hydrated and it’s nice to know they have access to water throughout the day. What a great idea, I always used to put an orange in the toe to help with filling out the stockings, this would be even better – though a thermos every year would have been too much (hopefully!).
Never thought to have Thermos products in a stocking, perfect for both my kids 🙂
