Did you know Bingemans has a brand new Excavation Station?
New this season Bingemans has introduced an outdoor construction-themed amusement zone and we couldn’t wait to take the boys. My youngest has big plans on being a construction worker when he gets older and is always super excited whenever we see construction vehicles on the road, so when Bingemans offered us tickets, we knew he would go crazy for a chance to get right inside a vehicle and take the reins. Not knowing quite what to expect, we headed to Kitchener Ontario to check it out.
Bingemans Excavation Station
Bingemans Excavation Station is a set of three interactive stations that are powered by Diggerland and the first of their kind in Ontario. The construction equipment is real but has been uniquely modified for adults and children of all ages to have fun! Each station has a different level of difficulty.
The Easy level station has riders attempt to position the hanging ring to pick up floating ducks and remove them from their pond. It’s really not as easy as it looks and the boys found this station a bit more difficult than the medium difficulty level. But it was a really fun challenge.
The Medium level challenges riders to knock down the set of bowling pins with a baseball attached to chain. Like I mentioned before, despite this being the medium level the boys agreed that this one was the easiest for them and also the most fun.
The Hard level was by far the most difficult and required riders to pick up shapes and try to position them into the correct hole. Even adults will struggle with this one, but it is possible and the boys were able to get at least one in during their try.
It was really fun watching all three boys tackle the challenges in their own way, each one used their own unique strategy to achieve the same results. The Excavation Station was a big hit with my boys aged 9, 10 and 12 but it’s really fun for all ages and I saw a few dads having a fun go at them with their little ones on their laps.
Operators must be a minimum of 42” in height.
Lap rider must be between 36” and 48”.
Lap riding only permitted with parent or legal guardian.
What else is there to do at Bingemans?
In addition to the excavation station, you can have hours of fun playing at the Three-level Play Structure, Bowling, Playdium Arcade, Rock Climbing, Ropes Course, Mini Golf, Big Splash Waterpark and more! Campground on-site for visitors to the area as well as a Boston Pizza restaurant.
Visit Bingemans website for details and prices.
We went on Monday. My 4 year old had a blast working a real digger. He didn’t compete the challenges, just had fun moving the controls around. It was fun watching him, but I thought it would be more, bigger, something… I’m glad I drove the two hours for him to have the experience, but it was also a very expensive half hour.
Well, how cool is that. The boys must have had so excited!
It was really fun!
This is so cool, and I know there is going to be some girls that would love to do this as well, I love how different it is and all the kids love anything to do with the construction machines!!
There were a few girls giving it a try while we were there. Fun for everyone!
I love how they have different levels to try out! I live in Kitchener and absolutely love Bingemans …. was actually there a few days ago but have yet to check out the new excavation station. such a great idea to add to their already amazing facility
It’s a great addition, there are so many fun activities there!
What a marvellous ‘play’ centre, I don’t think I could complete any of the ‘games’ but it would be fun to try. One of my grandsons would be in seventh heaven here. 🙂
My boys couldn’t complete them all but they had lots of fun trying
NOW THAT is neat!!
now this is good to know about!
My boys would love this place. They can’t get enough of diggers.
That looks like a lot of fun and a challenge too!
Oh my I can see hours of family fun in this spot!
If we ever get there from BC, I’m afraid we’d have to leave our grandson there lol He loves everything construction
lol that’s cute
Do they still have this?
I no longer see this attraction on their website unfortunately
