It can be difficult to find toys that not only provide enough of a “wow” factor to capture an older child’s interests, but also offers amazing developmental benefits. This is the fun of STEM toys. If you have middle school aged kids, you are probably aware of the value and impact STEM toys offer them both at school and at home.
What are STEM toys?
STEM toys fall into these four categories:
• Science
• Technology
• Engineering
• Math
Essentially, any toy that falls into one, several or all the above categories can be classified as a STEM toy. STEM toys are a multi-purpose learning tools that help to sharpen a child’s knowledge and enable them to enjoy themselves at the same time. The toys are not only educational, but they are also entertaining and engaging to play with.
