The Best Ways to Beat and Treat Clothing Stains

Disclosure: I received OxiClean product to treat clothing stains for reviewing purposes as well as monetary compensation, all opinions are my own.

I still remember this first time I used Oxiclean to treat clothing stains. My oldest was just a little guy at the time and I had made one of those rookie new mom mistakes by giving my toddler some blueberries to munch on sans bib for an afternoon snack. As to be expected, that new white t-shirt he was sporting got covered in blueberry stains!

I was sure that was going to be the first and last time he wore it. Later that day I was chatting with the neighbour who mentioned that OxiClean might be able to save the shirt. I really didn’t believe anything could get this horrible stain out but she popped over with her bottle of OxiClean Laundry Stain Remover Spray and told me to give it a try.

I sprayed the white, stained covered shirt before bed that night and got ready to do a load of laundry the next morning. When I went into the laundry room, I saw the shirt, but not the blueberry stain! I was absolutely shocked! How could it have disappeared? I was so amazed and excited that I immediately called my neighbour even though it was before 8am, she just laughed at me and “I told you so”.

oxiclean products to treat clothing stains

Since that day, OxiClean has been a staple in my laundry room cupboard and has saved us on numerous occasions! Now that I am a mom to three boys, I never fret about what the boys are eating or getting themselves into. Boys are hard on their clothes, but it’s important for them to stay active, so I never blame the stain, because I can rely on OxiClean to get us through the days biggest adventures.

After our little day of fun in the great outdoors, that nice white t-shirt my son was sporting was now host to some pretty tough soil and grass stains. We tackled them with OxiClean™ MaxForce™ Laundry Pre-Treater Spray. I let the stain soak overnight to deeply penetrate and washed the next morning. All the dirt was removed and only the slightest shadow of grass stain was left behind. The perfectionist that I am just held this shirt back from the dryer and ran in through one more time in my next load and the stain was gone completely. OxiClean for the win again!
