The rules are simple for this classic road trip game.
- Keep your eyes on the road to see how many different license plates you can find
- Points are awarded for each unique plate
- Use our free printable to keep track of the ones you find
- When you spot a license plate from the state or province, just cross it out!
- You can play competitively or cooperatively
License Plate Scavenger Hunt
Competitive Play
Print out one License Plate Game Sheet for each person playing.
Everyone will need a pencil or something to cross out the states/provinces with.
The person who spotted the most license plates win.
You can go with bragging rights or pick out some prizes from the dollar store for the winner!
Cooperative Play
Just one License Plate Game Sheet is needed, unless everyone wants their own.
Working together, when someone spots a new license plate, they call it out so it can be recorded on the game sheet.
