Sooooo...... a blogger you all know and love is turning the BIG 4-0 next month. Yup, I'm a February baby so I've been busy this week renewing my health card and drivers license and all that jazz. Not that I needed a reminder that my 40th was coming up quickly or anything, in fact, I kind of just thinking of myself as forty months ago. It's here, why not embrace it. The good news is, I can still pass for much younger. My kids ages don't even give me away because I know plenty of … [Read more...]
Age is just a number, Olay Ageless
You are never too old to make your dreams come true
Imagine getting the best surprise of your life, at 91 years old? For Catherine, that's exactly what happened. At 85 years old, she invented a new product and started to sell it, but she needed a little help. That's when BMO stepped in to help make her dreams come true. Take a look! I love this story; Catherine proves that we never stop having goals and dreams, no matter where we are in our life's journey. The weather is getting colder and I’m starting my Bahama Islands Bucket List!

This required some deeper investigation and I've come up with my Bahama … [Read more...]
Play All Day Elmo!
I grew up with the Sesame Street crew, Elmo hadn't moved into the neighbourhood yet (yes, I'm that old), but I have the fondest memories of Cookie Monster, Bert, Ernie and Big Bird and longed to sit on that famous stoop. I got my chance too! I couldn't keep my love for Sesame Street all to myself, so when the boys were young we took a road trip to visit all of the characters including the big red guy himself, Elmo! We had so much fun playing all day with Elmo that we've made many visits … [Read more...]
Make Eye Exams Part of Back-to-School
Did you know that 80% of a child’s learning is vision based? Before my oldest started Junior Kindergarten, I brought him into the family doctor for a check up to make sure we were all up to date on needles and that he was healthy as could be. During that visit, our family doctor decided to test his eyes. I was surprised, he had never tested the boys' vision before and both my husband and I had great eye sight. I guess, an eye test just wasn't on my radar. Turns out, during that little test, … [Read more...]
