So much to be thankful for! so much! and what a wonderful weekend we had to remind us of that! No more dreary, rainy days, we had a full weekend of Sun and Fun! Couldn’t have asked for more!
My Husband’s Dad and Grandma came for the weekend so we had a nice visit over our turkey dinner on Saturday, Check out my yummy dessert recipe here.
Sunday we headed out to our local Fall Fair, it’s a Thanksgiving tradition for us and we love it! It’s not Thanksgiving until we’ve had our day at the fair. This year was my favourite year ever! It was fun before we had kids, and then the kiddos came and it was just a little harder to get around with strollers and arranging feedings, diaper changes, naps etc. But with no new babies this year it was actually a little easier and we timed things just right by leaving a little earlier and beating the heavy afternoon crowds. We checked out all the animals, saw the crafts and such, let the kids take on some rides, caught a fly ball demonstration and even met up with some awesome friends who were able to witness my son drop his pants in front of a whole crowd of people and start peeing on the grass! oh boy!
