Back to School with Sharpie Brush Tip Markers

I can’t believe how quickly the summer is flying by, September will be here before you know it! Have you been out to start back to school shopping for your kiddos? We will be looking for back packs and lunch boxes in  the coming weeks, but one thing we are already stocked up on is markers! This summer we have been testing out the new Brush Tip markers from Sharpie!

The new Sharpie® Brush Tip marker uses the famous bold permanent Sharpie ink but with a new brush tip that creates fine lines, bold strokes and shading all with a single marker! They’re perfect for expressing creative flare on traditional surfaces like posters and notebooks and on a wide variety of irregular surfaces – helmets, skateboards, bicycles, signs, and so much more.

I really like the feel of the brush tip which allows for quick coverage if tilted to the side for a nice wide stroke or hold the tip upright and you have a thin line as well. The brush tip is flexible and puts out a good bit of ink. I let my son do a little project with a terra cotta mug  to try them out, normally he loves to draw ‘angry bird’ pictures, but because it was a mug he went with a colour block design all the way around the mug because he said he wanted it to look pretty for me! lol Fair Warning* the markers have a pretty stong scent.

Avalaible in 12 different bold colours, you can purchase them individually or in 4 and 8 packs with prices from $1.79 to $13.99. Look for these at Walmart, Staples or The Real Canadian Superstore when you are out doing your back to school shopping this year!
