Go NUTS this summer!!
Most schools have a nut-free policy, meaning we can send our kiddos off to school with even the slightest trace of a nut in their lunch pail. So during Summer vacation I like to indulge the kids in their favourite nutty recipes that include peanut butter, pecans, walnuts and almonds! A couple of our favourites are these Double-Nut Cookies and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Pancakes! It’s always fun to try new recipes though, so I enlisted the help of a few bloggy buds and asked them, what kind of kid friendly recipes that their family loved – containing Nuts of course!!
They did not disappoint! Here’s a Round Up of some amazing Nutty Recipes!

I’m a sucker for nut butters. These look great. Those candied pecans look amazing.
Although I allergic to other nuts, I am a HUGE fan of PEANUTS !!! Love these recipes! YUM!
I love this idea, thanks for sharing all these yummy posts. I’m nuts for summer, I’m eating almonds now. 🙂 Hahaha!
Those look delicious!!! It took me a while to get used to the nut-free policy at preschool. I’m enjoying not having to worry about it for the summer so, as you suggest, I’ll have to try all of these! 🙂 Too soon it’s no-nuts again…
I don’t know how I would have survived in school with no peanut butter – I used to eat PB and honey sandwiches almost every day!
These look like some great recipes!
I brought a lot of PB sandwiches in my day too! lol
