Features I loved about the Bissell Hard Floor Expert Deluxe were the speed controls on the handle, the handy cord retract, the cool rootbeer and orange colour combo and the dirt canister. I much prefer a canister style vacuum over bags. I actually get a kick seeing all the dirt the vacuum sucks up and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve accidently sucked up a light bright or lego piece! lol It’s easy to retreive those from a canister! Plus, no extra cost of buying bags. The Bissell Hard Floor Expert Deluxe was gentle on the floors and removed both dust and dirt nicely. 

I found the Hard Floor Expert easy to move around the house with, but the cord was a little shorter than my previous vacuum. This one has a cord length of 16.4′ which isn’t bad, I’m just used to having a lot of cord to run with. Keeping the floor tool in the right position took some getting used to for me, I tend to keep my arm low and that would lift the floor tool off of the floor surface. Once I got the hang of keeping it in a complete upright position, it worked perfectly. The only real downside might be having to switch back and forth between the hard floor tool and the carpet tool if your rooms are mixed up between the two surfaces.
