With three boys in the house we have no shortage of hot wheels cars, each kiddo has his own bucket under his bed and they are constantly making ‘trades’ with eachother. Last summer my Father-in-law arrived at our house with a few boxes of Daddies old toys that were taking up space in Grandpas basement. The boys were surprised and excited to see that Daddy used to play with Hot Wheels too and owned quite a few pieces of racing track!
Since then the boys have been hooked on track building and super happy to see that in addition to some chocolate eggs and jellybeans, the Easter Bunny brought a few sets of awesome Hot Wheel sets! Easter turned into one big Hot Wheels party at our house as they excitedly built every little boys dream track!
Even our large lab needed a front row seat for the action!
From ramps, to loops, and even a speed trap the boys had a blast creating their own special set up. My favourite part was the rocket launch!
Daddy was impressed with the new connectors that hold the track pieces together, they make connecting and disconnecting the pieces a snap and can still connect to the pieces he had as a kid! I’m not sure who was having more fun! Dad or the boys!
