Summer is made for going on adventures! For my active guys that usually means getting them out into nature to explore forests, trails and waterways! It also happens to be mom and dad’s favourite way to get active and connect with the kids too!
New experiences give us a chance to learn something new and bond as a family, on this outing above, we came across a funny little otter playing in the water too! He was a thrill to watch as he slid around looking for crayfish under the rocks!

Walking around our neighbourhood we pick out flowers and I tell them the names of them. Also we point out birds and name them. At the beach we look for beach glass!

We have been doing a lot of berry picking in the woods and u-picks. Sophies fantastic at it and would honestly pick berries all day. We will be starting blueberries next week and we cannot wait.

Exploring nature with the little ones in my life is my favourite way to explore with them. there’s so much to see and touch and do. they always have a million questions and they get to let out a lot of energy.

Ohhh we are outdoor lovers! We normally take out kid to National Parks and camp out. We also love to hike every weekend if possible and let him explore, touch, get dirty…. He loves it!
