Snuggled on the couch with the boys, we catch our first glimpse of the Play-Doh Town sets from Hasbro during a commercial break. The boys immediately start saying “I want that” like they do everytime I cool new toy pops up on screen, but then the laughter ensues, ‘did that dog just poop’?. He sure did, the puppy in the Play-Doh Town Firehouse Playset has a surprise accident right in front of the firehouse and my boys go crazy with laughter! Bathroom humour is the way to a young boys heart afterall! One of them grabs the remote and backs up the t.v. so we can see it again and again and again, and then one more time because Daddy wasn’t in the room and missed it, you gotta love boys! lol
Brand new from Hasbro is a series of Play-Doh Town sets that can be used together to create a full city play set or separately on their own. Both ways are a ton of fun! Our family has been busy playing and creating with the Pizza Delivery figure and vehicle, Town Firehouse, and Ice Cream Truck playsets.
You can also purchase the Play-Doh Town Fire Truck, Pet Store, Hairdresser, Police Officer and Vehicle as well as a Roadworker set that also comes with a pup.
I really love how the sets complete each other. Each of my boys choose a set to play with, but it didn’t take long for them to start to interact together and it really became a super fun play session with the boys walking their characters over to visit each other and talking for them. So interactive!
The vehicles can even attach together, which really helped out when the ice cream truck broke down and needed a lift before the ice cream melted!
The Ice Cream Truck playset is a personal favourite of mine, you can make swirly ice cream cones and fun flavoured popsicles!
But each set has it’s own charm and tricks. The Firehouse has a water canon, fire hydrant and of course the pooping dog!
And who doesn’t love making their own pizza! You can stamp and cut your own pizza and then hop on your scooter to deliver in record time!
The Play-Doh brand is celebrating their 60th birthday this year!!! I think the new addition of Play-Doh Town proves that even in their 60th year, they’ve still go it!

Playdoh always has some awesome sets, I used to love playing with it when I was a kid and still do today, it’s awesome when the grandkids are around, it’s an excuse to play!!
