Sweet Reads Box is a Canadian subscription box for book lovers. Each month, they send a carefully curated box that includes a novel chosen from a top bestseller list.
As well as:
- a note card explaining the choice of novel and how your items connect.
- an item or two connected to your novel’s storyline/theme/setting
- a delicious drink to set the mood.
- a sweet treat to enjoy while reading
It’s literally “Me Time” in a box, and best of all, it can be delivered each and every month!
Each note card comes with a famous quote on the front which is a hint at this month’s theme. For February it was this beautiful quote from Maya Angelou about love.
The featured book of course is The Lonely Hearts Hotel, here’s a bit more about it

Don’t you love how the box all came together so perfectly? Not only does each item have a meaningful tie to the book, but it’s adorably colour co ordinated in Navy and Gold! I should also mention that many of the items in the box are from Canadian companies and the author this month is Canadian too. It’s always nice to see locally sourced products and great to see Sweet Reads Box supporting other Canadian business! For me personally, I love knowing that when I fall in love with a great treat like the yummy popcorn from the Toronto Popcorn Company, I will be able to find it again.

I love the book the most, because I love to read, but also I really love the bookmark and the lights – I would definitely give the bookmark to my older daughter who often is caught reading past bedtime, and the lights would be really cute in the bedroom she shares with her sister.

So hard to pick my favorite. I just read The Lonely Hearts Hotel and it was SO GOOD! Those string lights are also amazing. Frankly though, Sweet Reads does such a fabulous job of curating their boxes that everything inside of them is amazing!

I am such a book worm this is incredible. Ontop of being a book worm, I am a HUGEEE popcorn fan- Although I usually go for Salt+Vinegar popcorn (don’t judge!) I love salted caramel. I can’t think of anything better then being cozy in bed snacking on popcorn and reading a book!!

The snacks this time round for me. I love books but I like to read a certain type and doubt I could get into reading something just because its on a best sellers list. Most of my books are books I’ve had recommended to me via goodreads because its simliar to the ones I’ve read int he past lol
