It might seem early to start thinking about Christmas, but I assure you it’s not! I guarantee you the kids are already taking note of what’s on store shelves and paying close attention to the holiday commercials that are starting to appear on tv. I was in Canadian Tire last week and they had both Halloween and Christmas items stocked in full!
I’m a big planner so I would rather my kids start making their lists now anyway so I can get started looking for sales or ordering online if need be. Want a fun printable Christmas Wish List sheet? Check out these ones I made last year for you!
Here’s a few fun ideas from our crew to add a few smiles on Christmas morning!
Christmas Gifts For Boys
Complimentary Christmas toys were provided by Zing Toys in order for me to share this review with you. All opinions are my own.
HyperStrike Bow and Arrow set
This set is A LOT of fun for the whole family, adults included! It’s an exciting and safe way for kids to try out archery for the first time or just practice their aim. The arrows are made of plastic and foam so they are not sharp but together with the bow, you can launch them a full 250ft! The bungee cord pull will determine how far the bows will travel. When deployed the arrows make a fun whistle sound as well.
This set is designed for ages 14 and up but once we saw how safe if was for my teen to handle we allowed his younger brothers who are 10 and 11 to give it a try and they had no problems with it. Now it’s just a problem because they fight over it! The good news is, the sets can be bought in different colours for when you want to compete with each other.
This just might be the encouragement your kids need to get outside this winter and play! They could make targets to shoot at out of snow!
ZAX Ax
The axe throwing trend has swept the nation and adults everywhere are trying it out for both exercise and entertainment. But why let the adults have all the fun? Kids can now try their hand at axe throwing with the fun and totally safe Zax Ax.
The Zax Ax is made of foam so it’s lightweight and easy to throw but is still pretty stable. The foam suction cups will stick to almost any flat surface indoors or out and works particularly well on glass doors! My boys had lot of fun practicing both the one handed and two handed throw but also they just really love to practice throwing it in the air and catching it on the handle. If they touch the fake blade they have a good laugh and say “oops, lost some fingers!”
Klikbot
After discovering a precious metal, a team of treasure hunting KlikBots are confronted by the evil Modulus and his cronies. Thrust into a battle they never signed up, our former freewheeling adventurers must choose to become heroes and stop Modulus’ plan to build an army capable of taking over the universe. With KlikBot, you can join the battle against evil and create action packed stop-motion movies.
If your kids loce Stikbots, they’ll love the latest extension of the line. They are collectible figures with more points of articulation than Stikbot, making them ideal for advanced stop-motion animation. With interchangeable pieces, kids can combine the figures or take them apart and create new figures. With the free Stikbot Studio app, users can easily create stop-motion movies and share them on social media with #KlikBot which is half the fun!
