We had the opportunity to review some sets from the Playmobil’s Dwarf Kingdom and the boys couldn’t have been more pleased! The mobile Dwarf Castle was definitely the showstopper! How cool is it to be able to defend a castle that can move on wheels?! The resident Troll can even pull the castle!
The set was quite fun and easy to put together. There were a few steps where the boys needed some additional help like attaching the windows and a few pieces that were difficult for little hands to snap together. Other than that it was enjoyable with clear instructions!
Another fun feature that the boys enjoyed with this set was the pulley system to transport tools to the various levels of the castle.
There is also a meeting area on the top of the castle for the Dwarfs to plan their strategies! The boys enjoyed interacting with the figures in this area and playing with the included accessories like the raven, maps and telescope!
By far the most exciting feature of the Mobile Castle is the functioning crossbow! The boys couldn’t get enough of firing the crossbows at the enemies in order to defend the Dwarf Kingdom!
The characters themselves in these sets were so much fun for the boys! They loved the Trolls in particular! The holding cell for enemies was also a fun feature of this set!
As always Playmobil provided some outstanding accessories to allow the boys to even pretend that they were forging tools!
We also received the Giant Troll with Dwarf Fighter set! The boys absolutely adored that the Dwarf can ride in the Giant Trolls basket for battles!
When it comes to Boys and Trolls and Dwarfs…who doesn’t want to have a good battle? The boys loved all the dynamic elements in these sets to create their own stories and character origins!
Thank you Playmobil for these innovative Dwarf Kingdom sets. I think they would be great for any kids that like stories with a medieval flair and like fantasy and mystical creatures! These sets provided hours of fun for my Boys and hope they will for your Boys too!
