Lunchtime just got more fun with Glad & Disney!

Pretty soon the kids will be heading back to school, it's  a bittersweet time. By the end of summer I am glad to return to more of a routine, relish in a house that stays clean (at least until the kids come home from school) and work in silence, but then.......those dreaded packed lunches are back on my to-do list every day! Boo!!!! With three boys in the house, that's 15 school lunches a week and it can get darn right tiresome and not just for me, but them too. My boys are the pickiest of the … [Read more...]

Back to School with Mabel’s Labels

It's the most - wonderful time - of the year!!! Okay, I kid, I kid, but for a stay at home mom, sending the kids back to school is a bit of relief! Well, let's say it's bittersweet! We miss them when they are gone, but there's such a thing as too much of a good thing!  Before my oldest son started school a friend said to me something I always remembered. Kids don't need new things every year. She was right, backpack, pencil cases and supplies do not wear out every single year and there's … [Read more...]

I like to keep the boys fairly unscheduled during the summer days, because they are busy during the school year and play … [Read more...]

Fast forward to today and the boys would much rather hide out in the basement with their favourite video games and cry when we force them outside, especially if the weather isn't absolutely perfect. You just can't win! lol  Something we … [Read more...]

Diono Monterey Booster – for our next big step!

It's hard being the youngest sibling. I have three boys, the youngest two are just barely a year apart, so it can be hard for my little guy who's on the bottom of the totem pole. Because the boys are close in size, age and interests, sometimes he doesn't understand that for safety reasons he can't always do everything that his older brothers can do. Being just that tiny bit shorter has had him sitting out on fun rides and activities before, but it's a daily reminder in our van, as he is our last … [Read more...]
