My husband and I  were so happy to get a new appliance, but happier than even us, were the boys! Not that they were interested in the appliance, but it was the huge box that got them excited! This is now their favourite little crawl space and each of them play in it a few times a day! There is even a hole at the top (which is now a side) that makes a great window for peeking out of ! Every once in awhile we like to GO BIG! There are occassions when a card simply won't do! you need to just shout it out! I have the boys put their creativity to work to paint Big murals. Big Brother loves to paint, Middle Man loves to eat paint! lol They go to work on a large piece of paper. The key is to not let the middle get coloured, because that's where you'll want to write your message. This weekend I experienced a rarer than rare 31 hours completely child free!!! The last time that happened was in the Fall of '07 so I was long overdue! I took the 3 hour road trip to visit my Dad who is home from the hospital and doing very well. I couldn't bring the boys for fear they would try to climb all over him and it was certain they would wake him while he rested.
