My boys started watching Veggie Tales movies when we got Netflix a few months back, and now they are just eating them up! (ha! sorry, veggie pun, couldn’t help it!) They were really excited to see the new release Princess and the Popstar arrive and it came in perfect timing- as we were heading out the door for holidays! We popped the movie in the van DVD player and it made our 3 hour drive more enjoyable to have the boys interested in a new Veggie flick!
I don’t trust all kids movies, a lot of them are scary or slightly inappropriate for young viewers. Veggie Tales is one I can always count on to deliver a fun, entertaining performance for the kids with a sound christian message behind it.
About Princess & the Popstar
Princess Poppyseed’s life on her family’s farm is far from the glamorous world of her favorite pop singer Vanna Banana. While Princess milks the cows and dreams of a life on stage, Vanna has her own dreams of a life far from the hectic pace of stardom that leaves her feeling alone and lonely. On a chance meeting at a playground, Vanna and Princess cross paths and realize they look almost exactly alike, which leads to the crazy notion that maybe they could switch lives!
