Disney On Ice presents Treasure Trove Review

Want to know how I celebrated my 36th birthday? The same way I did 22 years ago, I took my BFF to see Disney On Ice! It was a blast from the past and my bestie as I took our seats to see Treasure Trove at the John Labatt Centre this past Saturday afternoon, different arena, different performance but the same excitement and giggles! This time we drove ourselves though!

Who made an appearance at Treasure Trove???? Just about everyone! Here are the highlights!

We were not late for this important date with Alice in Wonderland! There was an amazing chorus line of cards facing both backwards and forwards at the same time as the Queen of Hearts made her appearance!

okay yeah, started feeling really guilty for not bringing the boys when Captain Hook and his crew of scurvy pirates made their way to the ice and sought to defeat the ever-clever Peter Pan! The gigantic croc was impressive to say the least!

Hakuna Matata! This was a brilliant sequence, Feld Entertainment creatively mimicked a stampede of animals and I loved the dance between Simba and Nala. The best part was the pint size fan a couple rows back who was clearly a die-hard for The Lion King, she burst out in song loudly when the music played! so adorable!

Pucker up! I couldn’t resist the urge to make kissy noises as Sleeping Beauty lay down her sweet head and along came her prince! Not before the Dwarfs made a little fun of their own though!

The glow in the dark under water scene for Ariel and Sebastian was amazing!

Everybody’s new favourite leading lady Rapunzel dropped in to say with Flynn and some magical floating lanterns

But my absolute favourite performance was that of Aladdin and Jasmine! It was phenomenal! The hilarious genie, a humungous elephant and of course the famous magic carpet ride made the show spectacular!

Other Disney celeb visits came from the princesses, The Incredibles and of course it wouldn’t be Disney without Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy!

I had forgotten how well Disney On Ice puts on a show, it truly was spectacular!
I can’t wait to take the boys to see Dare to Dream in March!
