Break Out the BBQ!

I may have mentioned before that Spring is my least favourite season, I would honestly love a fresh snowy winter day over the muck, mud and changing temps of Spring. It’s hard to know what to dress the kids in for walks or school and they come back home covered in mud anyway. ugh! so.not.my.favourite.season.

On the upside, the days are getting longer and every once in a while warmer, and it makes me super excited to break out the barbeque again! We actually do use it all year long when we can, but if the deck is covered in snow than it’s a no-go and cooking outside at night in the dark can be tricky. So warmer days and more light at night are great conditions to brush off the grill and change up the winter cooking comfort food routine.

The changing seasons always inspires me to try out some new recipes so I’ve been scouring the web for some new grilling ideas and came across Reader’s Digest chicken recipes. Yeah, I know, who knew you would find awesome recipes over at Reader’s Digest! I’m going to be trying out The Barbequed Chicken for a Crowd recipe this week (a family of five counts as a crowd right?) and I have my eye on Balsamic Chicken with Roasted Tomatoes too, cooked on the grill of course!
