Sesame Place Opens it’s Doors for 2012
Sesame Place opens TODAY!! (April 28th) for the 2012 season! Sesame Street comes to life at Sesame Place through whirling rides, water slides and exciting shows. Dance and sing-a-long with everyone’s favorite furry friends in the amazing Neighbourhood Street Party parade with day and night performances.

We took the kids last year and they had a BLAST! (As did my husband and I). We are from the Toronto area but made a 10 day vacation out of it with 2 days at the park. Best vacation we’ve been on. And it is so much closer than Disney!

We actually rented a townhome in Voorhees, NJ (just across the bridge from PA). It was about a 30 min – 1 hour drive from everything we did but it was way cheaper than a hotel and each person got their own room. I found the place on airbnb.com. We bought the Elmo’s Any 2-Day ticket. My girls were 2.5 and 1 at the time. We also took them to the Philadelpia Zoo, Adventure Aquarium, a trolly tour of Philadelphia, Atlantic City and even went to ‘Jersey Shore’ for a day at the beach (which was absolutely beautiful!).
