July is the perfect time to take a family road trip – school’s out so the kids are up for an adventure! There are endless possibilities when it comes to the type of road trips you can take from a local destination, to one across the country.

Tofino, British Columbia. Looking for something truly picturesque? Head to Canada’s surf capital – Tofino. Quebec City, Quebec. Whatever direction you’re coming in from, stop in a few francophone villages on your way into the old city to soak up the culture, food and French! We would like to go to the mountains but it does not look like this is going to be possible this summer.
Since it would have to be a short trip this summer I would pick a weekend getaway to Niagara Falls since it has been years since I was last there.
I’m hoping to go to Niagara Falls and go down Clifton Hill.
We’re staying close to home this summer, just visiting the family cottage. We just got back from a three day music festival in Quebec where we camped so that’s as far as we’re going from home this year.
