Big Brother has a healthy addiction to the Backyardigans, that annoying cheerful theme song can be heard around the house on any given day. A couple of weeks ago Dad and Big Brother were snuggled up on the couch watching an episode where apparently the Backyardigans were making pie and acting out a Samurai life. How the two go together, don't ask me, I didn't even see it. On the weekend of Little Buddy's birthday party my parents spent the night at our house and for dessert we … [Read more...]

Middle Man Messes
It seems I rarely post a picture of this kid with a clean face, mainly because he never has a clean face! Years from now we will look back on our pictures of the kids when they were young and wonder what Middle Man even looked like under all that food! This is a happy Middle Man after a stop at McDonald's last week for a sundae. and yes, that's a car seat he's in, this brave Mama let her not even two year old ride in the van with a hot fudge ice cream sundae!! Stamp It Up!
A few weeks back I bought some little alphabet stamps at the dollar store, yeterday I thought we would put them to use to make a get well card for the boy's Grandpa. It makes me feel really old to think we are going through this right now. I really didn't imagine having to lose a parent for many years to … [Read more...]
The Middle Place
"The Middle Place is about calling home. Instinctively. Even when all the paperwork- a marriage license, a notarized deed, two birth certificates, and even seven years of tax returns- clearly indicates your an adult, but all the same, there you are, clutching the phone and thanking God that you're still somebody's daughter" The Middle Place by Kelly Corrigan There's a time in life when you are not only a child, but you have a child. You are not only have a parent, you become a … [Read more...]
