The past few days have been a whirlwind of activities and nerves as I headed off to the ShesConnected 2011 conference in Toronto and then a shear crash of exhaustion from then on!
ShesConnected held their second annual social media conference about connecting brands and a selection of Canada’s Top 200 Digital Women, and I was happy to be selected among them. This is a unique conference as their are conferences for brands and their are conferences for bloggers/women, but this is the only one that brings the two together for interaction.
While the brands paid for the conference ticket, the expense of travel and accommodation was high, so I send a very special thank you to my fabulous sponsor for this event- Eko Bear Toys, who without them I would not have been able to attend.
I have mixed feelings on parts of the day, but I wanted to highlight a few of my favourite moments and quotes from the event.
