That’s a Match!

The Easter Bunny came hopping into town with a new Winnie the Pooh Matching game for Big Brother. I was really impressed with how fast he picked up on how to play the game and how well he did playing it! He caught on so quickly and you could just see his little brain go to work, scanning the cards and making his matches! He did great! I started out playing with just 16 cards and 4 rows of 4. Then we went bigger with 20 cards and 5 rows of 5 and just kept building from there. He did really well at taking turns too. Overall, it was a hit at our house and will help him get ready for school along the way.

Memory and matching games are great for all ages, not just little ones, but it is definitely a fun game for preschoolers to play with these added benefits.

  • improves concentration
  • trains your visual memory
  • increases short term memory
  • improves the ability to find similarities and differences in objects
  • helps to classify objects that are grouped by similar traits
  • improves the vocabulary
