Candy Corn Inspired Halloween Jello Cups

Halloween Jello Cups inspired by the holiday’s most classic candy!

Whether you are planning a Halloween party or just want to surprise your favourite little goblins with a fun and festive treat, these Halloween Jello Cups are sure to do the trick. Inspired by the trio of stacked colours in the classic Candy Corn, the brightly coloured yellow and orange layers of jello are topped by a white cloud of whipped cream.

This Halloween dessert is as easy as can be, but it does take some time because you’ll need to wait for each layer to set before starting the next. So plan early to create the Jello cups or even give yourself a day or two to complete the treat.

The black sprinkles are completely optional. I happened to have some on hand from another project so I gave ours a sprinkle and liked how it looked but you may choose to just keep yours plain, or go the extra mile and top with a real candy corn!

Do you like candy corns? That seems to be a hot Halloween debate!

How many you make will all depend on the size of the cup you use. I used something like a small stemless wine glass and got three Jello cups in total which was what I was aiming for because I have three boys. But having said that, it was a big treat! The boys worked on this dessert two nights in a row, which was okay, it saves just fine. I just didn’t want to end up with one or two extra that they would fight over.

If you use smaller cups (just make sure they are clear) you can likely get about 5 or 6 dessert cups from this recipe.

Can I Make Jello Shots?

Heck ya, forget the kids! lol If you are planning an adult Halloween party you could easily make these fun candy corn inspired Jello cups into Jello shots.

To make the Jello shots, pour the Jell-O powder into a container, add one cup of boiling water, stir until dissolved. Now add in half a cup of cold water and half a cup of vodka. Stir until mixed. Pour into shot glasses. Follow the same method above for layering the jello.
