Lightbulb Ornaments

Get your DIY on this Christmas with these upcycled Holiday Character Light Bulb Ornaments. Choose from a snowman or penguin, or make both!   Creating holiday ornaments doesn't have to be expensive, in fact, my favourite way is using the Three R's. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle! Or a more trendy term I suppose is Upcycle.  By saving old burnt out light bulbs and giving them a coat of paint, you can turn something that would otherwise go in the landfill a new life and a spot on … [Read more...]

Wood Slice Ornaments

You might also find slices ready to go from your local craft store.  Wood Slice Ornaments I used … [Read more...]

Snowman Gift Pots

These snowman gift pots are so easy the kids can do it! They always said the way to a boys heart was through his tummy, though in our case it's probably his sweet tooth! lol  Another great way to get boys crafting is to gear it to stuff they already love! This Christmas, I'm rounding up some fun holiday ornaments that … [Read more...]

Snowball Ornaments

Pretty Snowball Ornaments, easy enough for the kids to make! Each year the boys and I sit down and create a new ornament for our tree. This year, Mama got a brand new tree for herself! I'm pretty excited about it! We've always had a family tree with a mish mash of ornaments from pretty to cute and handmade ones the boys made at school along with ornaments we pick up on our travels. It's really fun to decorate the tree every year and look back on those memories, but secretly I had … [Read more...]
